Apply The Skills
You would be absolutely surprised how much you begin to remember when you begin doing a task that you haven’t completed in a long period of time. If you are concerned that you are losing touch with a certain skill try to use the skill in a task to see how much you still know. From there you will better determine how much work and effort you need to put into perfecting the skill. It may be as simple as reading an article or retaking a short course.
Practice Makes Perfect
Once you have established which skills you need to improve on and how much effort need to go into it – you can then start practicing! Think back to how you mastered the skill in the first place, I’m sure it wasn’t a one-day process. Revising a skill takes time, effort and lots of practice.
